Big Hair Do Care

MOP_4676

This passed weekend while doing my Bantu Knot Out at Lajawi Beaute Cafe I came across a convenience I had never really considered before, a wig. While I know the likes of Beyonce and Gabriel Union don a fab piece practically daily, I had never taken into account that I might be a candidate for a wig. I was about to leave the salon in my knots (a style I’m happy to wear out while my Knot Out dries) when Jawad asked if I had ever tried a wig on. I hadn’t, so since it wasn’t much of a commitment, I tried it and it was love at first sight!

This big hair changed my life! What an easy and fabulous transformation!! Oh my goodness where have I been all these years? It is as though you slip on a whole new girl in seconds. And the joy of being able to keep a protective style underneath that bad boy actually makes me a little emotional. The best part is these can be custom made using any hair you like! Sounds crazy but don’t knock it till you’ve tried it, the convenience might win you over.

This post was actually meant to be about the outfit I’m wearing but the big hair stole the show! Who’d have thunk? A closer look at the outfit and hair below.

Hair: Lajawi Beaute Cafe

Sunnies: Cotton On

Cropped Knit: Sissy Boy
